Beyond translating the website
A translated page is not a complete market strategy.
A new market brings different search terms, competitors and buying expectations. Even markets that share a language may need different offers, product availability or regional content. Duplicating the existing site leaves those decisions unresolved.
Our international SEO consulting connects the commercial opportunity with local content and a technical setup your team can maintain.
What you receive
A practical plan for international search.
A focused engagement can cover a new-market launch, an international SEO audit or ongoing rollout support. We agree the countries, languages, page types and implementation responsibilities before work starts.
01
Market & search opportunity review
Assess existing country-level performance, local search demand, competitors and the markets your business can actually serve. Prioritize opportunities against commercial fit and delivery capacity.
02
Localized keyword & content plan
Map local terminology and search intent to the right landing pages. Build briefs for content, metadata and conversion paths, with native-language review arranged with your team.
03
International URL architecture
Evaluate country domains, subdomains and subdirectories against the existing site, market requirements and operating model. Document the chosen structure and any migration dependencies.
04
Hreflang & canonical review
Check language and region annotations, reciprocal relationships and canonical signals. Provide a mapping of equivalent pages and implementation requirements appropriate to your CMS.
05
Crawl, indexation & launch QA
Review access to localized URLs, redirects, indexability, sitemaps, internal links and language selectors. Turn findings into prioritized development tickets and pre-launch acceptance checks.
06
Market-level measurement & handover
Establish a baseline using Google Search Console and your analytics, with reporting by target market and page group. Track visibility, landing-page performance and agreed conversion outcomes, then hand over the checks and ownership for ongoing releases.
How we work
From market questions to a launch your team can support.
We work with your SEO, content, localization, product and engineering teams. Recommendations are adapted to your CMS or custom platform, with responsibilities agreed up front.
01
Discover
Agree the business goal, target countries and languages. Review existing demand, product availability, content, site structure and implementation constraints.
02
Plan
Prioritize markets and page groups. Define local intent, content requirements, URL architecture and the relationships between equivalent language or regional pages.
03
Implement & validate
Work with your developers and localization team on the agreed changes. Validate representative page templates and important URLs before expanding the rollout.
04
Monitor & improve
Compare post-launch performance with the baseline. Investigate indexing or targeting issues, review market-level outcomes and prioritize the next changes.
What the handover looks like
Clear decisions. Testable implementation requirements.
Your team receives a market and language matrix, a prioritized URL map, localized content requirements and development tickets with acceptance criteria. The plan explains what should change, why it matters and who owns the next step.
Example: the wrong regional page appears in search.
We investigate the affected URLs, visible content, canonical selection, hreflang relationships and internal links together. Your developers receive a defined change and a validation check, rather than a generic instruction to add more tags.
This is an illustrative diagnostic scenario. Hreflang helps communicate alternate versions; it does not guarantee rankings or a particular search result.
Before we start
International SEO services: your questions answered.
Do we need international SEO if our markets share a language?
Potentially. Country targeting and language targeting solve different needs. We assess whether differences in demand, offers or user experience justify regional pages, rather than automatically creating a new version for every country.
Should we use country domains, subdomains or subdirectories?
There is no single structure that fits every business. We evaluate your current site, market needs, resources and long-term maintenance before recommending an approach. URL changes also need a migration plan.
Is translating our existing keywords and pages enough?
Translation is a starting input, not a substitute for local research. We review how people search in each target market and use native-language review to check terminology, meaning and the experience of the localized page.
Does hreflang fix canonical or indexation problems?
Hreflang identifies alternate language or regional versions. We also check whether the pages can be crawled and indexed and whether canonical signals are appropriate. Adding annotations alone does not resolve every targeting issue.
Can you work with our developers and localization partners?
Yes. The work can be delivered as an audit and roadmap, implementation support or an ongoing engagement. We define the markets, languages, CMS requirements, review partners and delivery responsibilities before agreeing the scope.
